Facebook PixelWe have concluded a contract with Facebook Ireland, but it may nevertheless happen that Facebook Ireland transfers personal data to Facebook USA. For the USA, there is currently no adequacy decision by the EU Commission within the meaning of Article 45 (1), (3) of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). This means that the EU Commission has not yet positively determined that the country-specific data protection level of this country corresponds to that of the European Union based on the GDPR § 4 (appropriate safeguards).
The GDPR requires so-called suitable guarantees for a data transfer to a third country or to an international organization, Art. 46 (2), (3) GDPR. Such are not present for the above-mentioned country of destination.
Eventual risks that cannot currently be excluded for you as a data subject in connection with the aforementioned information are in particular:
